In January 2018 Iowa AEYC started their Membership Satisfaction Campaign. This is a series of short Member Satisfaction Surveys 2 to 3 questions long that take about 2 minutes to complete, followed by reviewing the responses and coming up with ways to implement changes or improvements in our current practices.

In January we sent out in our Weekly and in a separate email our first Membership Satisfaction Survey.
"Happy New Year. We are making member satisfaction a priority this year. Periodically throughout the year we will be doing short surveys, 2 to 3 questions, with the goal to make Iowa AEYC everything you want in a professional organization. To start off the new year, please take our survey."

The questions were:
  1. What do you like most about our organization?
  2. What do you like least about our organization?
  3. How likely are you to renew your membership?
  4. Additional comments.
January's Satisfaction Survey Results

In February we sent out responses to January's survey and our second Membership Satisfaction Survey.
"As mentioned last month, member satisfaction is a priority for Iowa AEYC this year. Over 80 members responded to our first Member Satisfaction Survey sent out through the Weekly last month! This month’s survey has just two questions and like the first survey should only take a couple minutes at most to answer."
"All comments from the last survey were shared with the Iowa AEYC Governing Board at their quarterly meeting on January 20. While it is always good to hear the positive, it is also insightful to hear the negative and no comments are being dismissed."

The questions were:
  1. Do you read our Weekly e-news?
  2. What type of content would you like to see in our Weekly?
  3. Any additional comments.
February's Satisfaction Survey Results

In both January and February we reviewed the survey results and started to implement some small changes right away.

In March we reviewed both January's and February's results more thoroughly and started to work on somn some action plans to better meet your needs.

Expect a new survey sometime in April.
