T.E.A.C.H. Eligibility Requirements:

• Work in a regulated preschool, child care center, or home program for at least 30 hours per week (or full time for the hours your preschool offers programming)
• Have worked with children birth to age 5 in your current program for at least 3 months
• Are working toward an early childhood degree, credential, or endorsement at an Iowa college (or would like to be)
• Have the support of your employer (if applicable).
• Demonstrate participation or progress towards a quality initiative such as QRS, QPPS, Head Start, or NAEYC/NAFCC accreditation.

Application Checklist:

• Application complete 
• Copy of DHS license or registration certificate
• Copy of QRS certificate (if applicable)
• Copy of NAEYC/NAFCC accreditation (if applicable)
• Income verification included (current paycheck stub, Schedule C, etc.)
• Completed verification agreement (in application)
• Financial aid (FAFSA) proof of application (not applicable to CDA assessment)
• Copy of prior college transcript - unofficial copies accepted
