Iowa AEYC wants to offer our members and those in the early childhood field a wealth of opportunities. You will find in this section of our website:
Awards
Nominations are accepted on an ongoing basis but must be postmarked by June 21st to be considered for the current year's Fall Early Learning Institute.
Awards include Children's Championship, Committment to Young Children, Educator of the Year, Emerging Leader, Equity and Opportunity, Family Partnerships, and Influencer. Descriptions and nomination process are explained on the Awards page.
Grants
As we become aware of grants for those working in the early childhood field we will be posting those on the Grants page.
Leadership
Any leadership opportunities we have or hear about we will post on the Leadership page.
Scholarship
We offer Membership Scholarships each year. The number depends on how successful our Tony Lacy Memorial Scholarship Raffle is. This raffle is held at the Fall Early Learning Institute Scholarship applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Each year applications received by December 31 will be awarded following the January Governing Board meeting. The application process is explained on the Scholarship page.
