PAEYS - Performance and Education Yield Success

The PAEYS program is an education-based salary supplement program for in-home family support professionals. The program provides an annual award, issued quarterly, and is based on educational and performance benchmarks set by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.

  • Role-related master's degree
  • Master's Degree plus or including:
    • Minimum of 12 Early Childhood college credits
    • Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Certificate
    • Completion of the Institute for the Advancement of Family Support Professionals Modules plus 9 EC related credits

  • Role-related bachelor's degree or higher
  • Bachelor's degree plus or including:
    • Minimum of 12 Early Childhood college credits
    • Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Certificate
    • Completion of the Institute for the Advancement of Family Support Professionals Modules (for college credit) plus 9 EC related credits

  • Meets level two criteria and is also progressing towards level three.
